How to use Card Meditation?

Card Meditation is designed for adults to know themselves deeply through self-introspection, and for children to express their feelings with the cards. Based on the principles of mindfulness and nonviolent communication, we have created cards in English, Chinese, French and German to support you through Self-Coaching Process, Meditation, Journaling and Inspiration, as a personal diary or as a way of enhancing communication with your child.

For Adults,

Step 1

Step 1. To start your Self-Coaching Process, tap the yellow Start button under For Adults on the role page -> tap “Start a New Meditation” or plus sign to select your feeling and need cards;

Step 2

Step 2. On the Select your feeling card page, slide the cards to pick three feeling card by tapping it into the yellow pocket below -> tap yellow Next button -> pick your strongest feeling out of the three cards by tapping it into the pocket below -> tap yellow Next button;
-> describe the situation that triggered the feeling on the next page -> tap Done button on the upper right corner.

Step 3

Step 3. On the What are the needs behind your feeling? page, slide the cards to pick three need cards by tapping them into the blue pocket below –> tap yellow Next button -> pick your strongest need out of the three cards by tapping it into the pocket below -> tap yellow Next button -> describe details or your wants of your needs on the next page -> tap Done button on the upper right corner.

Step 4

Step 4. Now, you can go through your feeling and need on Your Mindful Journal Log page. -> tap yellow Start Meditation button to enter the meditation window -> tap anyone of default options to start your meditation -> or, you can create your own meditation by tapping the yellow Add button.

Step 5

Step 5. You can also skip the feeling cards’ selection and pick the need cards directly to start your meditation. Details to process could be checked through Step 3.

Step 6

Step 6. Tap Moments tab to the Inspiration page. There are different quotes every day to inspire your mood. You can share your favorite quote to your friend by tapping the share sign on the upper right corner or the yellow Share Card button.
